I joined Tipton Systems in 2005, fresh out of college and ready to start my grown-up career in the exciting world of accounting. Bill and Dan Tipton (the founders of the company) were looking for someone that could take charge of the internal accounting needs of the growing company and I was up for the challenge. Through the years I continued to ask for the next challenge and found joy in learning about the areas outside of accounting that make Tipton Systems a well-rounded company in Sales, Support and (behind the scenes) in Administration.
I grew professionally and personally through the mentoring of both Bill and Dan Tipton. Bill and Dan believed in putting the customers’ needs first and building a trusting relationship that could be relied on, which resonated deeply with me. My role in the company constantly evolved and I quickly joined the leadership team, overseeing the Admin Department.
In 2014, we started dabbling in Teller Cash Recyclers and quickly realized that they required more of a hands-on approach with teller training and support than our previous equipment sales did. I learned about how the machines worked and how our customers used them and I joined our customer training team. My accounting background allowed me to assist our customers with balancing questions, which was not something any of our competitors were doing, and we were able to fully offer our customers the support they deserved.
When Bill and Dan started talking about what the secession of the company would look like, Nick and I were primed and ready to go and in 2022 we officially became the owners of Tipton Systems!
Nick and I truly believe that relationships are what make us successful, in life and in business. We still put our customers first and take pride in doing the right thing, not just what’s best for the bottom line, and our team is built with people that feel the same way.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me better, and for doing business with us. You are truly appreciated.
